Animal Spotlight: Sea Jellies

Timed with World Sea Jelly Day (3 Nov), this 45-minute guided experience brings you behind the scenes to witness feedings, learn about breeding, and discover why these mesmerising creatures matter. Running four times daily, guests go home with a cute jelly keychain, and a splash of ocean wonder.

Navy@Vivo

If you already successfully ballotted for tickets, you’ll get to board the Endurance-class Landing Ship Tank RSS Resolution, or ride a Fast Craft Utility (FCU). But even without, there’s lots to enjoy here, from an interactive shore exhibition, to family-friendly favourites such as Navy uniform dress-ups and Navy-themed art-and-craft activities. Don’t miss the SAF60 Exhibition Showcase and performances by the Naval Diving Unit (NDU) and the SAF Music and Drama Company as well.

Singapore Writers Festival (SWF) 2025

Back for its 28th edition, this year’s edition is themed ‘Shape of Things to Come’ and features over 200 programmes. Heads up, parents, you can use your Culture Pass to book tickets, even for programmes like these which the kids will love:

Carnival Games With Animal Fun

How it starts: a fun storytelling session. How it ends: with fun animal-themed old-school carnival games like ring toss and egg carton ping pong! What’s not to like? For ages 4 and above. Sun 9 Nov, 1pm, at The Arts House, $15.

Power Up!

Power up the sun and the moon with moves and grooves! For ages 4 to 6 years, this includes a guided craft-making segment. Sun 16 Nov, 11am, at The Arts House, $15. There’s a session for littlies aged 18–36 months too, on Sat 15 Nov.

Live Drawing Battle with Christopher Boyd, Chloe Chang and Ong Chao Hong

Choose a team and get ready to draw and play a guessing game against your opponents. Children’s book writers and illustrators pick up their magic pens to support their respective teams too! Sat 8 Nov, 10–11.30am, at The Arts House, $10.

Here We Are (Elijah’s Version)

What began as a simple song became a lifeline of hope for 12-year-old Elijah Ng, who bravely battled osteosarcoma, a rare and aggressive bone cancer, until his passing in July 2025. ‘Here We Are (Elijah’s Version)’ is singer-songwriter Charlie Lim’s tender tribute to Elijah. First sung at Elijah’s home, this acoustic version now honours his memory and children like him. All proceeds will support young cancer warriors through the Children’s Cancer Foundation.
